i grew up in a small town in siberia, a place where creativity wasn’t really a career path. my childhood friends followed their parents footsteps, and their parents followed their grandparents. there was no room for beauty. or rather,

the beauty was

in laboring hard, necessary work. maybe that’s why

i’ve always felt the

need to create

beautiful things.

 

 

moving to sweden opened that possibility, and since then i’ve been spending my time

(still working hard)

in a field most of

my childhood

friends haven’t

heard of – creating

beautiful things.
